Overview Presentation
WorkEngine is a SharePoint-based project and work management solution for businesses of any size. WorkEngine is a product that really stands out from the competition thanks to its many capabilities, among other reasons.
The Size of your Organization Does Not Matter
Most project management software solutions on the market target a specific company size. Some target small teams, some target mid-size companies and some target large organizations. WorkEngine actually offers 3 license models. Hence, they can help any kind of business by providing them with features and capabilities in accordance with their needs. The system is reliable and robust enough for the largest organizations, and on the other hand, it empowers smaller ones to work with more basic features without getting burdened with complex and overkill management workflow, management and other elements of that nature. So whether you’re the Basecamp type, the Attask type or the Microsoft Project type, WorkEngine Live has a solution for every type of customer.
Build your Own Solution
WorkEngine offers an impressive variety of applications that help customers manage their work in accordance with their most specific needs. Depending on whether you are managing projects, services, programs or doing agile management, WorkEngine has the proper solution. The system can also be configured for management of tasks, actions, approvals, changes, bugs, procurements, among other elements. With regards to flexibility, WorkEngine has a solid competitive edge.
Integration
WorkEngine integrates with several Microsoft solutions such as Project, Dynamics, System Center and Visual Studio. Being SharePoint-based with a SQL Server backend, WorkEngine is an adaptable work management solution that can connect easily with solutions used in many organizations.
Overall Speed
WorkEngine has one weakness in our opinion, that is, overall performance. While creating projects especially, we noticed unusual loading and saving time. Most SaaS products are extremely fast nowadays, but WorkEngine, probably because of the complexity of the system itself, is not race winner. Nevertheless, the waiting time is unusual and not necessarily a showstopper, although some organizations may find this somewhat irritating.
The Bottom Line
If you are looking for a multi-purpose project and work management solution, WorkEngine should be considered. Thanks to several pre-built applications, work features and seamless integration with Microsoft products like Project and Dynamics, WorkEngine plays in a different league than most of its competitors.
