No one has time nowadays; especially not to learn a complex project management system, and even less to wait for a slow system to load data. For all of us impatient ones, here comes OPMcreator. Not only is this system fast, it is easy to customize and a breeze to use!
We especially liked OPMcreator’s neat news and links feature. Maintained by the administrator, these sections can be used as a communication outlet as well as a reference tool. While news can be archived, links are categorized for easy browsing.
OPMcreator’s interface is simple yet effective: after just a few minutes of using the system, we felt right at home and could access any feature without having to look for it, something seldom seen in the great world of project management.
Of all the features in OPMcreator, two make it stand a cut above the rest: their CAD file viewing capability, and their project feedback feature.
Project feedback is a feature intended to ease customer relations. A minimum number of user feedbacks can be set for each project. Once the project is marked as completed, OPMcreator sends the feedback request to all users on the project and, after receiving the required number of feedbacks, automatically archives the project. The project feedback form is completely customizable, so you can get usable and useful information from your team members.
Right from the get go, creating an account in OPMcreator is simple: just fill in the basic information and you’re in. The Administration section is surprisingly user-friendly. We especially appreciated being able to upload a corporate logo and change system colors instantly.
The OPMcreator administrator can modify system terminology, forms and notification emails to fit his or her company’s standards. This is done right in the system, making the process of setting up the account as painless as it gets.
In OPMcreator, users are either added by the administrator or simply invited. When the user is invited to join the system, all the administrator has to do is enter each invitee’s name and email address, then OPMcreator sends an invitation email for the new users to fill out the registration form themselves!
Once the OPMcreator account is setup, project managers take over and start making OPMcreator their team’s information headquarters – wherever the team members are. OPMcreator offers complete project management capabilities, from tasks, hours and costs to Gantt charts, email notification and file storage. Users can access their workload two ways without having to open a project: they can use the calendar, which shows their deadlines, or they can use the MyTasks tab, which displays a list of all tasks assigned to them.
OPMcreator is the perfect system for organisations that need a project management software with all the effectiveness of the huge system but without the sharp learning curve and lengthy setup delays.
