Registration
In order to advertise on this website, a user must first create a free account. During registration, a user is required to provide contact information (such
as name and email address). We use this information to send requested email notifications to our customers for important announcements or to fix
account-related problems, such as payment issues.
Order
All payments and refunds are processed by an outsourced credit card processing service, that is, Internet Secure. Transactions are processed on their website, and absolutely no credit card information is stored on our end.
Information Use
Profile
We store information that we collect through cookies and dynamic pages to create a user's profile. A profile is stored information that we keep
on individual users that detail their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the users' personal identification information

in regards to hardware, software, networking and general business practices.
General Security
We take all necessary measures to ensure our website is secure and reliable for both ourselves and our customers. Security audits are performed periodically and should issues of any kind are addressed, we will fix them in a timely manner.
Physical Security
Web-Based-Sofware.com is hosted on a dedicated server with Windows Server 2008 technology, 48 Gigabytes of memory, a SCSI Raid-1 hard drive and dual quad-core 2.33 Ghz Intel Xeon processors. A secondary SCSI drive is installed for a mirror backup. Web-Based-Sofware.com's servers is behind a strong firewall machine that safeguards against hacker attacks.
Network Security
We use a web hosting service located in Chicago, Illinois in the United States, MaximumASP. They use a scalable, redundant "bandwidth-on-demand" solution. Depending on network traffic and nationwide bottleneck status, our web server traffic is routed down multiple OC-3 Internet connections to national Internet backbones AT&T and Qwest. Our local connectivity is through BellSouth, KDL and Adelphia via high-speed SONET OC-48 connections.
Software Security
Web-Based-Sofware.com's server runs on Windows Server 2008. All security patches have been applied on our server. Our administrator is in charge of keeping up-to-date on current vulnerabilities that may affect our environment. Our policy is to apply new patches as soon as possible. Critical updates are applied within 24 hours.
Web-Based-Sofware.com's server is also equipped with a powerful antivirus software suite. The software's virus definitions are updated every day, and the server is scanned for virus every night. All files uploaded to the server, for example screenshots, are automatically scanned for viruses. Whenever a virus is found, it is removed immediately.
Our firewall is a physical gateway that stands between the Internet connection and the server.
Data Security
Backups are performed nightly and kept on the server's secondary SCSI disk. Everyday, all clients data is backed-up to an external medium.
Web-Based-Sofware.com has an SSL certificate from InstantSSL.com. This means Web-Based-Sofware.com clients can use a secure SSL 128-bit encrypted connection to login to Web-Based-Sofware.com.
In case of a security breach
As soon as we become aware of a security breach and that data has been accessed without authorization, Web-Based-Sofware.com will contact the affected persons and/or businesses without delay. Furthermore, Web-Based-Sofware.com will do everything in its power to remedy the situation and prevent its further occurrence. This could provoke a short downtime on the server's in order to protect client data while we implement corrective action on the breach. We have never been hacked.
Confidentiality
[Web-Based-Software.com] makes every effort to preserve the privacy of the information its servers contain. We will never sell, share or publish our clients' data.
All documents are located in a secure zone. Any other Web-Based-Sofware.com user or unauthorized visitor cannot access these files.
When a client closes his/her Web-Based-Sofware.com account, the account data is deleted permanently from the server.

2.1 Free Listing
Any web-based software product can be listed on www.web-based-software.com for free.
2.2 Fees
By subscribing to our service, you agree to pay any applicable fees and charges specified on
http://www.web-based-software.com/advertise/. Canadian organizations must pay any applicable federal or provincial tax. Organizations from any other
country are exempted from any tax. We may change the fees and charges or add new fees and charges at any time, without prior notice. You are responsible
for any fees or charges incurred to access the Service through an Internet service provider or other third party service. No setup or cancellation fees
are charged.
2.3 Payment
All fees and charges are due and payable by credit card only. Annual advertising plans are not refundable after 14 days. You must keep your credit card
information current by informing us of any change. All credit card information changes must be made through a secured link we will provide you, which
is owned by Internet Secure. Recurring fees for use of the Service will automatically be billed to the credit card we have on file for you at the beginning
of each renewal period, unless you cancel your subscription before the relevant period begins.
2.4 Downtime
We guarantee 99% of uptime. The 1% we cannot guarantee lies on the fact that the Internet may be unavailable itself, or unexpected technical issues may
occur and such issues may be outside of our control. In case such downtime occurs, no financial compensation may be granted, in any form. We may make
the Service unavailable from time to time for maintenance, without prior notice. Our servers are pinged every 15 minutes. If a server doesn't
respond, our customer service staff gets immediately notified by SMS and email and will do everything in their power to fix the problem as soon as possible.
3. TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION
3.1. Termination
We reserve the right to monitor use of our Service to determine compliance with the Terms mentioned herein. We may terminate the Service at any time if
we are convinced that you failed to comply with any of the terms mentioned herein.
3.2. Cancellation
Your advertiser listing will remain active unless terminated by us or until you cancel by sending us an
email. You must not cancel by phone, regular mail or live chat. If you cancel prior to the next billing cycle, cancellation will be effective immediately
and you will not be billed for the next cycle. If you cancel in the middle of a billing period, you will not receive a refund for amounts previously paid.
We may cancel or discontinue the Service at any time for any reason and may terminate your use of the Service immediately upon notice to you at any time
if you breach these terms.
4. LIMITED LICENSE / UPGRADES
Code of Conduct
While using our website, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. In addition, we expect users of our Service to respect the
rights and dignity of others.
5. DISCLAIMER; limitation of liability

7.4 Agreement
These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and us and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or representations, written or

shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. These Terms may not be modified
